40 days 2008!
40 Days Fasting till Our National Day Begins Today!
And im participating in It!Almost Forgot and i decided to fast computer Games today!
I pray God will Speak to Me Personally during this 40 days!
U may Ask..Why 40 days?Cuz the bible is clear that God considers 40 days a spiritually significant time period..And Whenever God wanted to prepare someone for his purpose.he took 40 days!Allow Me to elaborate!
1)Noah's life was transformed by 40 days of rain.
2)Moses was transformed by 40 days on Mount Sinai.
3)David was transformed by Goliath's 40 day challenge.
4)Jesus was empowered by 40 days in the wilderness.
5)The disciples were transformed by 40 days with Jesus after his resurrection.
6)ETC ETC ETC...
The Next 40 days will transformed my life!
"Let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.
Then you will know what God wants you to do"
Today i wan to share what i learnt while reading this book called
"Purpose Driven Life" By Rick Warren,and the chapter for today is
"Created to become Like Christ".
This was it says...(skipped some of e parts)
God's ultimate goal for your life on earth is not comfort, but character development.
Christ likeness is all About transforming your character , not personality.
Every time We forget that Godly character of Christ is one of God's purpose for your life,
We will become frustrated by our circumstances.
You will Wonder,"Why is this happening to me? Why am i having such a difficult time?"
One answer is that life is supposed to be difficult! It's what enable us to grow.
Remember, Earth is Not Heaven!
God gives us time on earth to build and strengthen our character and prepare us for heaven..
After reading it,Im so inspired and i see the purpose why am i on earth..
Which is God's ultimate Goal for your life on earth is not comfort, but character development
preparing me for heaven..
Wow!i really wonder wad does it meant by that!I thought we are Angels in heaven but
it seems like that is a life to live to heaven too!A Mini cooper for me?LOL!
It's interesting isn't it?
There is so much more in the book that i wish to share but it's too wordy le!
I think Brothers and Sister in Christ Should Read this Book to Get a Bigger Picture
Of What Has God In Plans For Ur Life On Earth And Doing What God Desire!=D
